EVAN CLACK
Head Coach
Growing up, Evan loved exploring the outdoors and was very active. Evan has been a lifelong athlete. Most recently, Evan was an avid Cross-Fit enthusiast and coach. As a level 2 CrossFit Trainer, Evan has been coaching functional fitness since 2014. From his diverse athletic background and his love for movement, it’s no wonder that Evan became interested in Parkour.

Although Evan likes to say that he “was always doing Parkour," his Parkour journey began in the summer of 2020 at age 24. Evan was very intrigued by the Parkour community, people that were of a similar mindset to him that pursued the best ways to stay fit and healthy with no money, no gyms and no equipment. After searching the internet for various training videos, tutorials, blogs, etc. Evan decided to dive into training Parkour on his own, at the farm he was living at in Washington.
In December of 2020, after months of solo training, Evan moved back to his home state of North Carolina, in order to attend Tricking and Parkour classes at Enso Movement in Raleigh. By summer of 2021 he would relocate to the northeast, finding a home with his girlfriend Raven in the small town of Waynesboro, PA.
It wouldn’t take long before he found two Parkour Communities nearby, one to the south in Frederick, MD and the other to the north at Dexterity Depot. By 2023, Evan was immersed in the world of Parkour. He was training with local athletes, learning from the coaches at Dexterity Depot and traveling across the northeast to attend his first Parkour Jams. Evan had fallen deep in love with Parkour.
Evan really enjoyed his time learning Parkour at The Depot. Because Evan lived an hour away from the Depot, he looked to grow his local community and share the sport he’d grown to love. He soon began collaborating on a project with the local Police Athletic League to revitalize an abandoned Parkour park in the nearby Hagerstown, and reopen the park for classes and community sessions. This project continues to this day, and is truly an inspiring mission.
Parkour would have to share the spotlight when a new sport caught Evan’s eye, World Chase Tag. Not only did Dexterity Depot already have an active team, but Evan learned that Dexterity was getting an official Quad, becoming one of two gyms in the country at the time to have an official Quad. This was a rare opportunity for Evan to get into WCT and train with the pros. Having a background in team sports and no longer training to compete in CrossFit, WCT seemed like the perfect new competitive outlet to test his Parkour skills.
Once the quad was installed Evan hit the ground running training with the Dexterity Depot World Chase Tag Team and competing at in-house competitions. It would be during this time that Evan was approached with an opportunity to coach Parkour and Chase Tag Classes at the Depot. Evan was grateful for the things he learned at The Depot and the opportunities it brought him, so he gladly accepted the position to coach.
Evan began Coaching at The Depot in March of 2024. His wealth of coaching experience in functional fitness and CrossFit, make him an amazing Parkour coach. Evan understands movement in a very complex way. His silly outgoing energy is infectious to those around him.
Evan still continues to train Parkour and World Chase Tag. He has also since founded his very own World Chase Tag Team, The Second State Squonks. The team was founded by Evan alongside his fellow Dexterity staff member Elias Poe. Outside of The Depot, Evan continues to enjoy exploring the outdoors, spending time with his girlfriend Raven, and building community through movement. His story proves that it’s never too late to start something new, and we’re thrilled to have him inspiring athletes at Dexterity Depot.
